Though yes, we all are washing our hands frequently, but some body parts need to be washed thoroughly. Here is a list of seven such body parts that need to be cleaned often and thoroughly.

Yes, your back gets wet when you take a bath. But do you rub your back enough? Probably not. Invest in a loofah or an exfoliating sponge. If not daily, at least use it three-four times a day to reduce the risk of skin infection.

To clean under your nails, use a cotton swab dipped in soap water or sanitizer and clean properly. Clipping the nails can also help in the dirt not getting collected.

This area is where sebaceous glands are situated and which secrete sebum. Sebum is the perfect hiding place for bacteria. Thus, it’s important to wash behind your ears daily. You can also take a cloth dipped in warm water and rub it behind the ears to clean the area.

The place is warm with nooks and cervix and thus best for bacteria to hide. Use cotton dipped in soapy water or alcohol to clean the area. If your belly button is pierced, it’s even more important to clean it regularly.
