TREAT INFECTIONS WITH NEEM

The goodness of neem has been known since ages. It is antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory herb. Wellness professional Dr Manoj Kutteri states, “Neem treats infections like acne, pigmentation, rashes, etc while controlling the moisture of the skin. Having neem water baths, applying neem oil on infections and even a few leaves in your food can help keep your skin healthy by giving your body a natural antibacterial treatment.”

BOOST YOUR IMMUNITY WITH TURMERIC

Haldi or turmeric is one of the most renowned ayurvedic remedies to heal the body from within. Turmeric soothes the skin, cures the problems like acne, pigmentation, etc when applied as a face pack on the skin. “Mixing turmeric with milk or adding it in food boosts immunity and gives a natural cleanse to the body which shows on the skin too,” says Dr Manoharan.

GO FOR A CLEANSE WITH AYURVEDIC TEA

Ayurvedic herbal tea brewed with herbs like green tea, ginger, lemongrass, tulsi, chamomile, etc gives the body a cleanse. “One of the reasons for skin problems during the rainy season is an improper diet that includes fried foods, junks, and spices. With ayurvedic herbal tea, the body gets cleanse which further cures a lot of skin diseases. It is also a great remedy for cough and cold during monsoons,” states Dr Kutteri.
