3G Media Group doing business as Rosette’s Multi-Service, which produces the Annual 3G Awards in New York, has announced its 2019 nominees.
The Board and entire 3G team have proudly accepted the nomination of Mr Patrick Osei Agyemang, popularly known as ‘Country Man Songo.’ Songo will be honoured at the 9th Edition of the 3G Awards in New York. He is the popular presenter of the biggest sports show in Ghana; ‘Fire 4 Fire’ on Adom TV.
Due to his commitment and hard work, he has won so many awards which include: Best English Commentator, National Sports Journalist Awards and Sports Commentator in 2005, TV Host of the Year 2014, 2015 and 2016. The ‘Fire for Fire’ show on Adom TV which he hosts was awarded; The Popular Television Show of the Year; 2014, 2015 and 2016. He has provided commentaries for almost all the big clubs in Ghana and the national teams both local and international.
The 3G Awards 2019 will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 starting at 9 pm @ Berean Hall, 1661 Boon Avenue, Bronx NY 10460 (Entrance on E 173 ST).
The event dubbed; ‘A Night of Heroes’ recognises the sacrifice and dedication of the leading trailblazers of the greater Ghanaian and global communities.
Last year’s event was historical and was graced by some of the following honourees; Emelia Brobbey (actress), Kofi Adomah Wanwani (Kofi TV), Dan Kwaku Yeboah (Peace FM), Captain Smart (Adom TV), Delay, Koofori, Counsellor Lutterodt, and Hon. Kwamena Duncan, Central Regional Minister.
Other Past honourees of the 3G Awards Gala have included; Hollywood Actor Abraham Attah; Former New York Senator, Hassel-Smith, Boxing Legend; Michael Spinks, Hon Kennedy Ohene-Agyapong, MP, Tommy Smythe, ESPN’s Sports Presenter/Analyst; Boxing legend, Azuma Nelson; Dr Akwasi Appiah; The Black Stars’ Captain, Asamoah Gyan; and many others.
Music will be provided by FSR VJs, headed by the dynamic DJ Prince Paul. There will also be live musical performances.
The annual 3G Awards is represented in Ghana by Koofori and Counsellor Lutterodt.
