Three suspected armed robbers who allegedly slashed the wrist of a 26-year-old hairdresser to take her mobile phone in Sunyani, have been arrested.

The victim, whose name has been withheld by the police, has been taken to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi due to the severity of the wound. The wrist was nearly severed.

The suspects, who are being processed for court, were said to have used a sharp knife to cut the left wrist of the lady at Dream Field in Sunyani, leaving her with a gaping wound.

“On 6th of September, the same guy who was granted bail at the court, organised two guys” to rob the hairdresser.
