The Black Stars have departed Ghana for Angola, preparing for their second-to-last Group F match in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Head Coach Otto Addo and the team took off from Accra to Luanda on Wednesday evening after several days of rigorous training.
The squad held three intensive sessions at Accra Sports Stadium this week before heading to Angola.
The lineup includes seasoned players and fresh talents, such as Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Joseph Wollacott, Alidu Seidu, Kingsley Schindler, Nathaniel Adjei, Gideon Mensah, Ibrahim Sulemana, Elisha Owusu, Michael Baidoo, Emmanuel Antwi, and Razak Simpson. Also joining are Jordan Ayew, Osman Bukari, Ernest Nuamah, Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Francis Abu, and Forson Amankwah.
With Mohammed Kudus and Jordan Ayew expected to lead the offensive, the team will hold a final training session in Luanda on Thursday, November 14, to acclimate and sharpen their tactics for the crucial clash against Angola.
This match is a pivotal opportunity for Ghana to advance toward a 2025 AFCON qualification.
The Black Stars will conclude their qualifiers at home with a final game against Niger on Monday at Accra Sports Stadium.
