Black Stars forward, Brandon Solomon Thomas-Asante has affirmed his dedication to contributing to the team’s success.
The Coventry City striker has been included in Ghana’s squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
Thomas-Asante, who made his debut for Ghana against the Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers this June, joined his Black Stars teammates for training at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday in preparation for Thursday’s match.
After the session, Thomas-Asante told the media, “On the pitch, my goal is to help us secure victory. I see every opportunity to play as a chance to make a difference. I’m deeply committed to our success as a nation.”
He continued, “I’ve witnessed our past achievements and am eager to help us reach even greater heights. I’m ready to do my part.”
The Black Stars are set to train at the Baba Yara Stadium later today, with their final practice scheduled for Wednesday. The match kicks off at 16:00 GMT.
Following the Angola game, Ghana will travel to Berkane for their second Group F fixture against Niger on Monday, September 9.
