Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum has indicated that, the Black Stars technical team will make significant changes ahead of their upcoming matches against Sudan.
This follows the senior national team’s disappointing start in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Ghana lost 1-0 to Angola at Baba Yara Stadium in their Group F opener at the Baba Yara Stadium and then drew 1-1 with Niger in Berkane.
The Black Stars are set to face Sudan in a doubleheader next month, with matches scheduled for both home and away venues.
Despite failing to secure positive results in the first two games, Asante Twum expressed optimism that “anything is possible” before the next international break.
He assured fans that the coaches are committed to making necessary adjustments to turn things around.
“It [Black Stars performance] doesn’t look good on paper, but before the next international break, anything is possible and things can change,” he told Angel FM.
“The coaches have assured us that they will take drastic measures to ensure we get back to winning ways,” he added.
Ghana will first host Sudan at a venue yet to be confirmed, before travelling to the Al-Merrikh Stadium for the second leg.
