Ghana coach, Otto Addo has assured that they will beat Sudan in their return leg of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
His assurance comes after the Black Stars were held to a 0-0 scoreline on Thursday afternoon in the first leg of the qualifiers.
After a challenging start to the qualifiers, the playing body put up an improved performance but failed to convert their chances despite dominating the game.
Speaking to the media after the game, Addo, who played at the 2006 World Cup with the Black Stars said the Falcons were lucky against his side.
He, however, assured that they will beat them in the return leg on Monday.
“Sudan were very lucky today but next time we meet them again in Libya, they will not be lucky again. We will beat them,” the 45-year-old said.
The outcome of the Matchday three games leave the Black Stars at the 3rd spot with two points.
Otto Addo and his men will be hosted on Tuesday, Octpber 15 at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Libya with kick-off scheduled at 13:00 GMT.
The Black Stars must win the game to brighten their chances of playing at the AFCON tournament in Morocco next year.
