Ghana’s return leg clash against Sudan in Libya today in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers will be played behind closed doors.

The Black Stars will be hosted at the Martyrs of February Stadium in the Matchday four games with kick-off scheduled at 13:00 GMT.

The senior national team were held to a goalless scoreline at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg of the doubleheader last week Thursday.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has communicated the decision for the game to be played behind closed doors to both Sudan and Ghana.

However, the reason behind this decision by CAF remains unknown.

Ghana is desperate for a win to revive their chances of qualifying for the tournament that will be hosted in Morocco next year after failing to secure a win in three games.

The Black Stars opened their qualifying games with a 1-0 defeat against Angola before a 1-1 draw against Niger which leave them at the 3rd spot with two points.

Meanwhile, Sudan has recorded a win, a draw and a defeat which leaves them at the 2nd spot with four points.
