Black Stars coach, Otto Addo has submitted his squad to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Ghana, placed in Group F alongside Angola, Niger, and Sudan, will kick off their qualification campaign next month.
The four-time African champions will start with matches against Angola and Niger.
The Black Stars will face Angola’s Palancas Negras at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5, before heading to Niger for an away game on September 9.
According to reports, Otto Addo has already submitted his squad for the first two qualifiers to the Executive Council of the GFA. Notably, no Ghana Premier League players have been included in the lineup.
Addo is expected to assemble a strong squad for these crucial matches, as the team aims to secure a spot in the tournament, which will be hosted in Morocco next year.
The Black Stars are eager to maintain their strong form, having achieved back-to-back victories against Mali and the Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June.
