2025 AFCONQ: Inaki starts as Otto Addo announces starting XI for Niger game

Black Stars coach Otto Addo has made two changes to the starting lineup for Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Niger.

In their second Group F match, set to take place at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane, Ghana will face off against the Super Eagles.

Majeed Ashimeru and Inaki Williams have been introduced into the lineup, replacing Elisha Owusu and Jordan Ayew.

The defense remains unchanged, with Tariq Lamptey and Alidu Seidu as the full-backs and Salisu Mohammed paired with Abdul Mumin in central defense.

Thomas Partey will lead from midfield, joined by Majeed Ashimeru and Mohammed Kudus.

Up front, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, and Inaki Williams will form the attacking trio.

The Black Stars are looking for a victory to revive their 2025 AFCON qualifying campaign following a defeat to Angola on Thursday. The match is set to start at 16:00 GMT.
