2025 AFCONQ: Black Stars to leave for Morocco today for Niger clash

-

The Black Stars of Ghana will depart for Morocco today to prepare for their second Group F match against Niger.

The four-time African champions began their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers on Thursday at Baba Yara Stadium with a game against Angola.

Unfortunately, they were defeated 1-0 by a late goal from Milson, leaving Angola with all three points.

The Black Stars are now heading to Berkane, Morocco, with their match against Niger scheduled for Monday, September 9, at the Stade Municipal de Berkane, kick-off at 16:00 GMT.

Otto Addo and his team will have two days of training before facing the Menas of Niger.

Currently sitting 3rd in the group with no points from their loss to Angola, Ghana will be aiming to secure their first points of the campaign against Niger.
