The Black Stars are set to depart for Kumasi later today September 3 to continue their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Angola.
The team began their training camp in Accra on Monday, with ten players participating in the first session at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Among those present were Frederick Asare, Joseph Wollacott, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Thomas Partey, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas Asante, Ebenezer Annan, Jonas Adjetey, Tariq Lamptey, and Ibrahim Osman.
After the initial session, more players joined the camp, including Jerome Opoku, Mohammed Kudus, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Inaki Williams, Abdul Mumin, Alidu Seidu, and Majeed Ashimeru.
The remaining invited players are expected to join the squad in Kumasi, where the team will hold their first training sessions at the Baba Yara Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday.
These sessions are part of their final preparations for the crucial match on Thursday.
Following the game against Angola, the Black Stars will travel to Berkane, Morocco, for their second Group F match against Niger, scheduled for Monday, September 9, 2024.
