The Black Stars of Ghana will kick off their training camp this Sunday, November 17, in Accra as they prepare for the final two matches in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
A squad of 25 players will gather at the Accra Sports Stadium for a series of practice sessions before heading to Luanda on Wednesday, November 13.
Their next match is set for Friday, November 15, when Ghana will face Angola at the Estádio 11 de Novembro.
Following this away fixture, the Black Stars will return to Accra to host Niger on Monday, November 18, at the Accra Sports Stadium for their final group game.
Currently, Ghana stands third in Group F with just two points from four matches, making their qualification path difficult. They trail second-place Sudan by five points and group leaders Angola by ten points.
To keep their AFCON hopes alive, Ghana must secure victories in both remaining games and rely on Sudan dropping points.
If Sudan manages even a draw in their last matches, Ghana’s chance of making their first AFCON appearance in two decades will come to an end.
In the absence of Thomas Partey, who has been left out of the squad, Jordan Ayew will captain the team for these crucial games.
