The Black Stars of Ghana have wrapped up their preparations for the second leg against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
After a goalless draw with Sudan in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium last week Thursday, Ghana is aiming for its first win of the qualifiers when the two teams meet again on Tuesday in Libya.
The Black Stars arrived in Libya on Sunday and held a training session today in anticipation of the crucial match against Sudan scheduled to be hosted at the Martyrs of February Stadium at 13:00 GMT.
Otto Addo and his side are sitting 3rd in Group F with just two points after three games.
A win on Tuesday is essential for the team to keep their hopes of qualifying for the tournament, set to be hosted in Morocco next year, alive.
Coach Otto Addo’s squad faces a tough challenge against a determined Sudan team, led by former Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah.
With their qualification campaign at stake, the Black Stars will need to deliver a strong performance to secure a much-needed victory.
