The Black Stars of Ghana have arrived safely in Libya ahead of their crucial second-leg match against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The first leg, played at the Accra Sports Stadium, ended in a disappointing 0-0 draw, with the Black Stars dominating possession but failing to convert their chances.
Ghana currently sits third in Group F with two points from two games, making their path to AFCON qualification increasingly difficult.
Head coach Otto Addo and his technical team are under pressure, as a win in the upcoming match is essential to keep their hopes alive for the tournament in Morocco next year.
Before departing, the team held a final training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, October 12.
The team will continue preparations with a mandatory training session at the Martyrs of February Stadium on Monday, ahead of the match on Tuesday.
Kick-off is set for 13:00 GMT.
Otto Addo’s squad faces a tough challenge against a determined Sudan side, coached by former Ghana manager Kwesi Appiah.
With their qualification campaign hanging by a thread, the Black Stars must rise to the occasion and secure a vital win.
