All 25 players invited to the Black Stars squad for their upcoming matches against Sudan have now arrived at camp.
The final two players, Abu Francis and Jonas Adjei Adjetey, joined the team on Tuesday night. They landed at Kotoka International Airport late in the evening and headed straight to the team’s base at the Alisa Hotel.
Francis and Adjetey were late additions to the squad, called up to replace four players who had to withdraw due to injuries and illness.
The Black Stars opened their training camp on Monday, October 7, with 11 players. By Tuesday morning, 12 more had arrived, bringing the total to 23 before Francis and Adjetey completed the squad.
The team is set to hold its final training session on Wednesday with the full squad ahead of their first 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Sudan on Thursday, October 10. The match will kick off at 16:00 GMT.
Following the home game, Ghana will travel to Libya for the return fixture against the Falcons of Jediane on matchday four at the Martyrs of February Stadium.
Currently sitting third in Group F with just one point from two games, Otto Addo’s side must secure victories in these crucial matches to boost their chances of qualifying.
