2025 AFCONQ: 22 players hold Black Stars training at Baba Yara Stadium ahead of Angola clash [Photos]

The senior national team, the Black Stars held their second training session at Baba Yara Stadium on Tuesday as they prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The team began their training camp in Accra on Monday with an initial group of 10 players at the Accra Sports Stadium.

On Tuesday morning, they travelled from Accra to Kumasi, where they continued their preparations with a second training session at Baba Yara Stadium under the guidance of head coach Otto Addo.

A total of 22 players participated in this session, with Jordan Ayew and Elisha Owusu set to join the squad on Wednesday morning.

The Black Stars will conclude their training on Wednesday, ahead of their match on Thursday. They will face the Palancas Negras in their Group F opener of the AFCON qualifiers at Baba Yara Stadium.

Following this, they will travel to Berkane to play against Niger in their second group match on Monday, September 9.
