The National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has urged Ghanaians to decisively reject Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for their failure to fulfil the promises made in their 2020 manifesto.

Mr Nketia described the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr Bawumia as a “serial liar,” asserting that he has nothing new to offer the people of Ghana after his government’s poor performance and mismanagement of the country’s resources.

Speaking to a gathering at Mamfe in the Akuapem North Constituency during the first day of his regional tour, Asiedu Nketia emphasized that Dr. Bawumia will not keep his manifesto promises, accusing him of merely lying his way to power.

“Bawumia promised to provide vehicles to motor riders instead of motorcycles. Ask him if he delivered. Where are the vehicles? He couldn’t fulfill the 2020 manifesto promises. Reject Bawumia and the NPP outright in the 2024 general elections. He will not deliver on his promises,” he stated.
