2024 polls: Prof. Opoku-Agyemang casts vote, urges high turnout

-

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Vice Presidential Candidate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has cast her vote at the Komenda M/A JHS polling station.

She encouraged eligible voters to turn out in large numbers before polls close.

Speaking after voting, she emphasized the importance of participation in the electoral process.

“Today marks the final opportunity for voters with valid ID cards to make their voices heard,” she said.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang attributed the low turnout at some polling centers to long wait times in queues, which she suggested may discourage voter participation.

She called for measures to address these challenges in future elections to enhance voter engagement.
