The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Northern Region is targeting to win 14 parliamentary seats in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
The Northern Regional Secretary of the NDC, Mohammed Abdul-Salam in an interview stated that the party is determined and well-prepared for the polls.
On Saturday, July 27, the NDC launched its campaign in Tamale, the Northern Regional capital, with the goal of securing more seats in the region.
Abdul-Salam mentioned that the party intends to reclaim some seats currently held by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“We are confident of winning 14 seats, and we believe all 18 seats in the region are winnable. We have strategized and our team is actively working on the ground.
“Every credible survey about the 2024 elections indicates that the NDC is leading ahead of the NPP,” he stated.
