2024 polls: Mahama’s future govt will be ‘scary for bad people’ – Asiedu Nketia

-

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has stated that a future John Mahama-led administration will be “terrifying for those involved in wrongdoing” in Ghana.

He pledged that, the next Mahama government would recover every pesewa misappropriated under the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.

Addressing party supporters in Sandema, Upper East Region, during his three-day tour, Mr Nketiah assured that the NDC would ensure justice and fairness for law-abiding citizens but would not spare anyone guilty of corruption or the mismanagement of state resources.

“No crime will go unpunished under a future NDC government,” he emphasized.

“The Mahama government will not be frightening for honest citizens, but it will certainly be a nightmare for those engaging in corrupt practices.”

“So wherever you are, whether in government or private business, conduct yourself in line with the principles of good citizenship, because when we return to power, we will set standards that will guide generations to come. That is the only way to ensure sustainable development in this country,” he added.
