Former New Juaben South MP, Dr Mark Assibey-Yeboah has said both flagbearers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) are experienced to lead Ghana.
However, Dr Assibey-Yeboah in an interview on Asempa FM Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday stated that, Ghanaians need to look at their track record going into the December 7 election.
“They are both experienced; one as Vice President for 8 years and another for Vice President for 4 years and President for 4 years. But we must look at their records while in power,” he stated.
The Chairman of the NPP’s Manifesto Subcommittee on the economy added that Dr Bawumia has proven himself and Ghanaians must give him the benefit of the doubt on December 7.
“He [Bawumia] has shown to have delivered on what was entrusted in his care as Vice President so we should look at their track records and what is in their manifestos,” he said.
