Executive Director of Global Info Analytics, Musah Dankwa, has reaffirmed the accuracy and credibility of his organization’s opinion polls, citing the 2024 election results as validation of their work.
In an exclusive interview with Adom News, Mr. Dankwa noted that his firm’s predictions for both the presidential and parliamentary elections were largely accurate, despite skepticism from the public and political figures.
He highlighted how Global Info Analytics correctly forecasted John Dramani Mahama’s victory in the presidential race, as well as the strong performance of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in key constituencies such as Dome Kwabenya, Okaikwei South, Ablekuma West, Ayawaso Central, and Ayawaso West Wuogon—seats many doubted the NDC could win.
“For us, we believe that our work is authentic, credible, and clean, without any manipulation,” Mr. Dankwa stated.
He emphasized the independence of Global Info Analytics, asserting that no politician or political party has ever paid the firm to influence its results.
“We conduct our surveys independently, and we don’t take money from any politician to manipulate our findings. They have tried to approach us, but we have always refused,” he said.
Looking to the future, Mr. Dankwa revealed plans to continue tracking public opinion through regular surveys. In the coming months, the firm intends to revisit issues affecting Ghanaians, including the performance of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration.
The firm also plans to compare current public sentiment with that during President Mahama’s tenure, providing a comprehensive analysis of how citizens perceive their quality of life under different administrations.
“We will return in a few months with similar questions to gauge how the public feels about their lives under Nana Addo’s leadership,” Mr. Dankwa said.
“We did the same during Mahama’s administration, and we will continue this process to give the public a voice.”
He reiterated Global Info Analytics’ commitment to honest, transparent, and independent polling, ensuring the public remains informed as Ghana prepares for the 2028 elections.
