Provisional results released by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) shows former President John Dramani Mahama is in a comfortable lead in the 2024 presidential election.
From the photos shared on social media, Mr Mahama has 5,959,345 votes while Vice President, Dr Bawumia has 4,347,594 votes.
The figures from the NDC’s collation centre shows results from 37,200 polling stations out of the total 40,976.
It indicates that, Mr. Mahama is leading with 56.45 per cent of the votes from polling stations with the New Patriotic Party’s Dr Mahamudu Bawumia following with 41.19 percent.
