Ghanaian legal luminary Tsatsu Tsikata has declared his intention to vote for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, John Mahama, on December 7.
According to him, Mr. Mahama’s performance during his previous term was much better than what Ghanaians have seen in recent times.
He made this statement in an interview on Accra-based GHOne TV.
Mr. Tsikata stated that the former President’s accomplishments are a clear indication of his capacity to advance national development.
“I am voting for John Mahama because of the clear failures of the current government. Mahama’s performance during his previous term was much better than what we have seen in recent times,” he stated.
Regarding the Akufo-Addo-led government, the lawyer lamented that they have woefully failed Ghanaians, and thus, the NPP does not merit another term.
“The depth to which we have sunk, not only in terms of the economy but also in governance, makes it hard to justify voting for someone who, as Vice President, was deeply involved,” he said.
