Member of Parliament for Akim Swedru, Kennedy Osei Nyarko has expressed disappointment with the posture of some voters towards the New Patriotic Party(NPP) in the 2024 election.
According to him, some people who have directly benefitted from the outgoing government were begged to go and cast their votes in the just-ended election.
The disgruntled lawmaker cited Free Senior High School (SHS) graduates and others who have also been gainfully employed.
Mr Nyarko expressed these concerns in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen.
He revealed that, he suffered such setbacks in his constituency and the feedback from some people he bemoaned was disheartening.
“Some of these people I was the one who helped them and I was shocked at what I was told was terrible,” he lamented.
