The Electoral Commission (EC) has reiterated that it will retain the original ballot order for the 2024 presidential election.
In a notice, the Commission urged the public to disregard fake stories suggesting otherwise.
“The Electoral Commission wishes to inform the General Public that the positions of Candidates on the 2024 Presidential Election Ballot Paper remain unchanged. Please ignore all fake stories to the contrary. Thank you,” the Commission posted on its X page.
Meanwhile, the EC is currently conducting the Special Voting exercise for frontline workers including the security agencies, electoral officers and media practitioners in 14 regions across the country.
The Western ad Eastern regions are however excluded from the exercise following a breach of ballot seals.
The exercise in these regions have been rescheduled to Thursday, December 5 ahead of the general election on December 7.
