Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) thronged the Lancaster Hotel formerly Golden Tulip in Accra in a jubilant mood on Friday evening.
Clad in party colours, there were screams and cheers from the gathering which had the running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh in attendance.
This was after the party picked the number position on the ballot paper for the 2024 election.
The ballot position according to the teeming supporters proves that they can break the 8 on December 7.
The NPP Director of Research and Election, Evans Nimako at the Electoral Commission (EC) headquarters picked number 1 for the party during balloting process.

National Democratic Congress(NDC) Fifi Kwetey accompanied by the Director of IT and Elections, Dr Edward Omane Boamah picked number 8 for the party.
