2024 Election: Bawumia is ‘immature’ to be Ghana’s president – GUM flagbearer

-

The 2024 Presidential candidate of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Christian Kwabena Andrews, has criticized the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as immature for the position of president.

He made this assertion on The Big Agenda on Adom TV, hosted by Nana Osei Ampofo Adjei.

According to him, the Vice President has failed in his role as Head of the Economic Management Team, and disassociating himself from the economic mess is enough evidence of his incompetence.

Regarding the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, he stated that the former president has run out of ideas to help Ghana.

He emphasized that GUM was the best option for Ghanaians in the December 7 election and urged eligible voters to decisively vote for him.

Expressing confidence in his victory, he dismissed survey reports predicting an NPP or NDC victory, describing them as fake.

The man nicknamed Kyere Abosom expressed confidence that he will win the election hands down and nothing can change it.

He has vowed to invoke curses on anyone who attempts to manipulate his electoral gains.

“I am winning the election and to secure my votes, I will be invoking 99 curses on all political actors who will try to temper with my votes. This exercise will happen on 1st December,” he said.

In the unlikely event of a runoff between the NDC and NPP, when asked which party GUM supporters would vote for, he said he would throw his support behind the candidate who agrees to pay every penny he has invested in the election.

“It is a difficult matter to extract every single cedi I have spent since 2020 from anyone before giving out my vote,” he answered.
