2024 election: Bawumia casts ballot in Walewale [Video]

Vice President and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party(NPP),  Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has cast his ballot in the 2024 election.

Dr. Bawumia voted at the Kperiga D/A Primary School polling station in Walewale, in the North East Region a few minutes after 8:00 am.

He arrived in his hometown of Walewale on Friday night ahead of the polls on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Dr. Bawumia is on the ballot for the first time and he is seeking to succeed President Akufo-Addo, having served as his Vice in the past eight years.

Speaking to the media after casting his ballot, Dr Bawumia expressed confidence about winning the presidential election.

He stressed optimism in the NPP’s campaign efforts and the trust Ghanaians have in the party’s track record.
