The Black Galaxies of Ghana are set to depart for Uyo on Friday, December 27, for the return leg of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
In the first leg, played last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, Didi Dramani’s team was held to a goalless draw.
Ahead of the return fixture, the Black Galaxies conducted their final training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, December 26.
The squad of 26 players, along with the technical team, will fly to Uyo on Friday morning and will hold their last training session later that evening at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Despite the stalemate in the first leg, the Black Galaxies are focused on achieving a positive result to secure a place in the tournament, scheduled to be hosted in February 2025 by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
After defeating Nigeria in a penalty shootout to qualify for the previous CHAN edition, the Black Galaxies are aiming for a second consecutive victory over the Super Eagles B.
The match will kick off at 16:00 GMT.
