Nations FC coach, Kassim Ocansey Mingle has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to enhance their performance ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
In their debut season, the Abrankese-based team secured 7th place, finishing with 49 points.
Speaking to the club’s website ahead of the start of the season, the 66-year-old coach emphasized his goal to elevate the team’s performance, with hopes of competing for titles in the upcoming season.
“The league is structured in a way that it doesn’t matter who you play first or last,” Mingle stated.
“The most important thing for us is to ensure we improve on last season’s performance.”
Acknowledging the challenge of their opening match against Bechem United, Mingle described it as a tough start but stressed his focus on preparing his team to face any opponent.
“Starting against Bechem United will obviously be a tough start, but we have to be ready for any opponent,” he remarked.
Nations FC will begin their season with a home game against the Hunters at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
The new season is set to kick off on September 6.
