Emmanuel Kyei Baffour’s late goal salvaged a point for Vision FC in their 1-1 draw with Legon Cities during Matchday 3 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
Baffour’s 88th-minute equalizer came just in time to prevent a home defeat at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema New Town.
Legon Cities had taken the lead in the 48th minute through Ishmael Amoah and seemed on course for their first win of the season.
However, Baffour’s crucial goal just two minutes before the end of regulation secured a draw for Vision FC.
For Legon Cities, the result brings some relief after consecutive defeats, while Vision FC now has five points from their first three games in their debut Premier League season.
Sunday, September 22, 2024, promises more Premier League action with five matches lined up across the country.
Hearts of Oak will look to bounce back against Bechem United at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, while Asante Kotoko host Young Apostles at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
