Asante Kotoko earned a hard-fought 1-0 win against defending champions FC Samartex, with Albert Amoah netting the decisive goal in the 31st minute.
Berekum Chelsea added to the troubles of bottom-placed Legon Cities with a convincing 3-1 win at Gold City Park. Emmanuel Sarpong opened the scoring in the 16th minute, ending the first half 1-0. Stephen Amankona extended the lead shortly after the break, and Hubert Gyau sealed the victory with a goal in the 61st minute.
Bibiani GoldStars continued their impressive run at DUN’s Park, claiming a 2-0 win over Aduana FC to move to the top of the league table. Ronald Frimpong gave the home side an early lead in the 6th minute, and Kumi Attah doubled it in the 73rd minute to secure the win.
Nsoatreman FC returned to winning form with a 2-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars at Nana Kronmansah Park. Collins Kudjoe scored just a minute into the game, and Mohammed Abdul Rahaman added a second in the 31st minute.
Karela United recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win against Hearts of Lions at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, with Abdul Basit scoring the winner in the 81st minute.
Vision FC was held to a 1-1 draw against Bechem United at Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex. Edmond Asante put the hosts ahead in the 85th minute, but Kofi Tompuo equalized for Bechem United just three minutes later.
Meanwhile, Dreams FC and Hearts of Oak played out a goalless draw at the Tuba AstroTurf.
