At the Wenchi Sports Stadium, Young Apostles pulled off a stunning 2-1 comeback against Berekum Chelsea. Kwesi Badori gave Chelsea the lead in the 13th minute, which they held until the break. But the hosts turned the game on its head late in the second half — Issah Huseine equalised in the 90th minute before Emmanuel Fosu Kyei struck deep into stoppage time to complete a remarkable turnaround.
In Samreboi, FC Samartex continued their strong form with a 2-0 win over Karela United at DUN’s Park. After a cagey first half, Godwin Sefah broke the deadlock in the 49th minute. Benedict Afful then wrapped up the win in the 94th minute.
Bechem United suffered a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Bibiani GoldStars at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. Ronaldo Frimpong opened the scoring for the visitors in the 31st minute, with Alex Aso adding a second in the 74th minute to seal the result.
At the Ampain AAK II Sports Arena, Basake Holy Stars edged out Vision FC 1-0 thanks to a 37th-minute goal from Dacosta Aboagye.
Elsewhere, Aduana FC deepened Hearts of Oak’s misery with a 2-0 victory at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park. Sam Adams put Aduana ahead in the 37th minute, and Abdel Bamba added a late goal in the 90th minute to complete the win.
Heart of Lions caused another upset with a narrow 1-0 win over Medeama SC at the Kpando Sports Stadium. Ebenezer Abban scored the decisive goal in the 66th minute following a goalless first half.
At the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Nations FC secured a slim 1-0 win over Dreams FC, with Faisal Charwetey converting a penalty in the 74th minute to hand the Abrankese-based side all three points.
In Accra, Accra Lions recorded a resounding 3-0 win over Asante Kotoko to boost their survival hopes. Jacob Awoute opened the scoring in the 13th minute, followed by Yao Sokpoli’s strike five minutes before halftime. David Akintunde added the third in the 73rd minute to seal a memorable victory.
As the dust settles, Bibiani GoldStars, Asante Kotoko, Nations FC, and Heart of Lions occupy the top four spots. Meanwhile, Karela United, Legon Cities, and Nsoatreman FC remain in the relegation zone.
