2024/25 GHPL: Hearts of Oak will be competitive – Vincent Sowah-Odotei

Board Member of Hearts of Oak, Vincent Sowah-Odotei, has pledged that the club will take all necessary steps to ensure they are competitive in the upcoming season.

After a challenging campaign last season, where the team finished 14th with 45 points and worked with three different coaches, Hearts of Oak is determined to improve.

With the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League set to start on September 6, Sowah-Odotei assured fans that the club is focusing on recruiting players to strengthen their squad.

“We are on track, it is not a simple, lineal thing, there are so many factors that come into play but we think that we are trying to manage all those factors to make that by the beginning of the season, we will have the strength in squad to make sure that we are that we think that can make us competitive,” Sowah-Odotei told ChannelOne TV following the unveiling of the new Phobia House.

So far, Hearts of Oak has signed Benjamin Asare, Samuel Amofa, Michael Awuah, and Asamoah Boateng Afriyie.

The team will kick off their season with a home match against Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.
