President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku is anticipating a fiercely competitive upcoming football season.
The fixtures for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League has been officially announced with the 18 teams preparing for the season.
Meanwhile, the Women’s Premier League and Division One League, are gearing up for intense competition.
Hasaacas Ladies will compete in the Women’s Champions League, Nsoatreman in the CAF Confederation Cup, and Ghana Premier League champions Samartex in the CAF Champions League.
Okraku highlighted the ongoing Division One Super Cup in Nsoatre as a preview of the competitive spirit expected in the new season.
“The new football season is gradually nearing us, and it promises to be very competitive,” he said.
“Our clubs in the GPL, Women’s Premier League, and Division One League are all preparing diligently,” Mr Okraku added.
“Hasaacas, for instance, are already in camp getting ready for the Women’s Champions League,” he added.
