Award-winning Gospel musician, Joyce Blessing, has seconded the idea by the chairman of the Normalization Committee, Dr Kofi Amoah, to part ways with the head coach of the Black Stars if he failed to win the 2019 edition of the African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Dr Kofi Amoah had said on Adom TV that per Kwesi Appiah’s contract if he doesn’t win the 2019 AFCON, he should be sacked.

He also indicated that the coach could even be sacked during the tournament, a statement that according to the ‘I swerve it’ hit-maker, was a good idea since the Normalization Committee is in for serious business.
“I can see that the Normalization Committee is serious and didn’t come to play, that’s why the previous coach was fired. He [Kwesi Appiah] came purposely to work in order to bring glories and if he is unable to achieve, it will be in the right direction to sack him”, she said.
Joyce believes it will be a good idea to give the coaching job to local coaches.
