Dreams FC midfielder, Manuel Elikeke has claimed that the just ended Ghana Premier league was the most competitive and impressive league ever played in recent times.
The versatile midfielder in the just ended season, proved to be a force to reckon with, playing just in front of the back four of Dreams FC during the entire season.
“The just ended Ghana premier league is the most competitive and impressive one played so far in the country. It was my debut season but I must admit it was exciting and keenly contested,” Elikeke said.
On his future commitments with his club, the midfielder said: “I still have a running contract with Dreams FC and my commitment remains with my employers. There has been a remarkable improvement in my career due to the level of play in the top flight compared to the lower division.
“I had to toughen myself and also work hard in order to compete in the elite league because you play against equally better players and clubs.
“Next season will be different and I look forward to a difficult one but I will urge the fans to expect tremendous improvement and significant performances,” he said.
Elikeke was adjudged the Most Promising Player after the 2014/2015 FA Cup season and subsequently penned down a 3-year deal with his current side, Dreams FC, from GN Bank Division One League side Tudu Mighty Jet FC.
He scored two goals and was awarded man of the match twice for his splendid performance against New Edubiase FC and Bechem United FC respectively.
