Twenty (20) more workers of Afcons infrastructure limited in the Lower Manya Krobo municipality have tested positive to Coronavirus.
This brings to 21 the number of positive cases recorded in the Eastern region.
The new cases are from samples they took from over 200 workers of the company tasked to build the railway from Akosombo in the eastern region to Tema in the Greater Accra region after an Indian expatriate worker tested positive for the virus.

Municipal health director, Bismark Sarkodie, who confirmed the new cases to Adom News’ Kofi Siaw, said they were expecting some more results from Noguchi Memorial Institute for medical research.
He says 19 of the infected persons are all Indian expatriates, explaining that the identity of the remaining one is yet to be ascertained.
