Two fetish priests have reportedly died at Berekum Senase after drinking locally brewed gin, Akpeteshie served them at a fetish festival.
Three others are also on admission at the Berekum Government Hospital after consuming the same drink.
The fetish priests took in the locally brewed gin during a festival in honor of a god called Tansie.

The dead – Okomfo Kwabena Prince and his linguist, Kwame Ofori – were rushed to the hospital after complaining of pains in the abdomen after drinking the poisoned substance.
However, they died later on arrival.
Adom News’ Pius Anokye who has been following up the issue reported from the house of one of the victims, Okomfo Kwabena Prince, 34, that people have gathered at his house to mourn him.
According to the mother of late priest, she suspects that his son who is an acclaimed traditional priest was poisoned by Okomfo Kwaku, the fetish priest they visited.
“While my son was in pain, he screamed that Okomfo Kwaku was the one who poisoned their drink and hence he is responsible for their deaths…,” he said.

According to Pius, one other Okomfo who first took in a concoction before serving the alleged Akpeteshie to the visitors is also on admission at the Hospital.
Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Chief Inspector Kingsley Oppong who confirmed the incident also said that one fetish priest; Okomfo Obeng Kwaku Emmanuel has been arrested to assist with investigations.
