A former Minister under the erstwhile Mahama administration has admitted that he was indeed the one who installed the audiovisual devices at the office of the Lands and Natural Resources Minister.
Inusah Fuseini speaking on Adom FM’s Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Tuesday said he attempted to install the recording devices as part of the steps he took to beef up his personal security while in office.
He however claimed that the security devices were not functional as he never finished installing them.
“We never finished the installation, we started but never finished so to all intent and purposes, they were useless…,” he said.
Earlier on the show, Nabdam MP, had claimed that a friend of the former Minister installed the audiovisual recorders in the office of Lands and Natural Resources Minister, John Peter Amewu.
The friend of former Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Inusah Fuseini only identified as Haruna is said to have admitted to the Bureau of National Investigations that he was indeed the one who attempted to install the recording device at the office of the Minister.
He could however not do a complete installation of the device which he claimed was given to him by a friend two to three years ago.

The said Haruna, is said to have been invited by the National Security to help with investigations, a Member of Parliament (MP) on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Mark-Kurt Nawanee disclosed on Adom FM’s Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Tuesday.
The National Security on Monday, July 10, 2017 uncovered the secretly planted audio-visual recorder in a huge Coat of Arms plaque hanging in the Minister’s office.
The espionage set up included a camera, a storage unit and another device suspected to be a transmitter.

It is believed to be able to pick a whisper 35-feet away.
According to the MP, the device was not working since the installation was never completed.
However, when the Minister was exiting the office, he failed to carry the device along.
