A six-year-old pupil, Peter Mensah has lost both legs in an accident at Offinso-Sanproso in the Ashanti Region.
According to an eye witness, Opoku Alexander, the boy was knocked down by a vehicle while crossing the road to his house after being sacked from school.
Opoku said the KIA truck driver who knocked down little Peter sped off but was later arrested by the Offinso Police.
According to the eye witness, Peter was on his way home after being sacked by his teacher to collect printing fees and a studies fees amounting to GHC2.20 pesewas respectively when the unfortunate incident occurred.
The boy who was  in a critical condition was saved by a Good Samaritan and rushed to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching hospital.
Given the state of his legs, they were amputed to save the life of the little boy.
The victim’s grandmother, Esther Darkoa speaking on Adom FM’s midday news said the future of her grandson has been shuttered.
She indicated that, the driver has been granted bail and asked to report himself by the police to report every week.
“They have cut both legs. The driver has been asked to go and come back one week later. I don’t know the name of the teacher. No one has been here to visit the family…” she cried.

    why should a teacher sent off a pupil all because he owes printing fees?sometimes we need to understand some situations of parents even if they are not ready to pay .God come rescue us
