Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF) and concern freight forwarders association are up in arms against government over the proposed paperless port to be soon implemented.
Government has rolled out a three-phase policy reform to make Ghana’s ports competitive on the continent.
As part of the process the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has been directed, to make all transactions at the Ports paperless by September.
But the agitated freight forwarders say although they agree with the decision, they want government to take its time to implementing the process.
The aggrieved freight forwarders clad their heads with red bands and demonstrated against the implementation.
Adom News’ Isabella Gidiglo who has been following the story reported on Adom Midday News that the freight forwarders are urging government to take a second look or face their wrath.

is that all just wait their time are we serious in this nation, they couldn’t give any tangible reason but ask the government to wait for them to finish pooping……….
